Woodway is a city in McLennan County, Texas, United States. The population was 8,733 at the 2000 census. It is part of the Waco Metropolitan Statistical Area.
Woodway is located at 31°30′11″N 97°13′26″W / 31.50306°N 97.22389°W / 31.50306; -97.22389 (31.503066, -97.223812).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 6.6 square miles (17.1 km²), all of it land.
