The town is intersected mainly by Orange County Rt. 1. Westtown is a community or populated place (Class Code U6) located in Orange County at latitude 41.337 and longitude -74.54. The elevation is 502 feet. Westtown is a part of the Minisink Valley Central School district. The town is made up of many farms and has a small populated street in the center of the town, along Rt. 284. There you can find a local pizza restaurant, video store, two deli’s , a church, preschool, a hair salon, barber shop a restaurant called ‘The Folderol’, an Arctic Cat snowmobile dealer (Snowcat Country), and a quaint Ice Cream and Dessert Cafe’ called The Dairy O.
