Timberlake is located at 41°39′53″N 81°26′34″W / 41.66472°N 81.44278°W / 41.66472; -81.44278 (41.664646, -81.442693).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 0.2 square miles (0.52 km), all of it land.
Timberlake is nearly completely surrounded by Eastlake, with one entrance to the village coming through Lakeline, and the remaining portion bordering on Lake Erie.
As of the census of 2000, there were 775 people, 309 households, and 225 families residing in the village. The population density was 3,614.1 people per square mile (1,424.9/km²). There were 321 housing units at an average density of 1,496.9 per square mile (590.2/km²).
