Celeste is a city in Hunt County, Texas, United States. The population was 817 at the 2000 census.

There were 347 housing units at an average density of 426.9 per square mile (165.4/km²). The racial makeup of the city was 93.27% White, 3.79% African American, 1.10% Native American, 0.12% Asian, 0.86% from other races, and 0.86% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 2.20% of the population.
