Bensenville is a village located primarily in DuPage County, Illinois, with a small section near O’Hare International Airport in Cook County, Illinois, overlapping into the city of Chicago. As of the 2010 census, the village population was 18,352. Bensenville is home to the Edge Ice Arena, home of the Chicago Steel junior ice hockey team. The village has a diverse population.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 6.0 square miles (15.6 km²), all of it land. Some of the land within Bensenville is technically part of O’Hare Airport and belongs to the city of Chicago, though no people reside there. There are two cemeteries on O’Hare property that are connected with Bensenville churches.
