The American Skateboard Association has given our school full certification to teach. In fact, it also has given us their highest level of rating -Gold Certification. Skateboarding is an activity that everyone should learn. The first skateboarders rode down hills in Carlsbad, CA with clay wheels so that they would have an activity to do when the surf wan't good. Not until the 1970's, the first skateboard park was made in California. No one knew the skateboard park boom was about to begin. Skateboarding has taken off with the pros, such as Rob Drydek and Shaun White, who have brought it to the main stream.
