Skateboarding is a great sport. The first skateboarders rode down hills in Carlsbad, CA with clay wheels so that they would have an activity to do when the surf wan't good. Not until the 1970's, the first skatepark was made in California. Shortly after, the skateboard boom was about to begin. Thousands skate parks that were built in the next dozen years. Today, there are more than 2,600 skateparks in America. The popularity of skateboarding has taken off with the pros, such as Rob Drydek and Shaun White, who have brought it to the main stream.

We have students of all ages and levels. All levels will get something from our instruction. It is never too late to start. We have even taught a 78 year-old grandfather who wanted to skate with his grandchildren. You can start skateboarding at any age.
