About Skateboarding
Skateboarding is a great sport. The first skaters rode down hills in Carlsbad, CA with clay wheels to take their surfing to the streets. Many years later, the first concrete skateboard park was made in California. No one knew the skateboard building boom was about to begin. Today, there are more than 2,600 skateparks in America. The popularity of skateboarding has taken off with the pros, such as Rob Drydek and Shaun White, who have brought it to the main stream.
