About
Skateboarding is a great sport. The first skaters rode down hills in Carlsbad, CA with clay wheels to mimic the waves of surfing. Not until the 1970's, the first skate park was made in California. No one knew the skateboard park boom was about to begin. The popularity of skateboarding has taken off with the pros, like Tony Hawk, who have brought it to the main stream.
