The first skateboard park was made in Southern California. No one knew the skateboard park boom was about to begin. There were a lot of skate parks that were built in the next twenty years. The popularity of skateboarding has taken off with the pros, such as Rob Drydek and Shaun White, who have brought it to the main stream.
