About Skateboarding
Skateboarding is a great sport. The first skaters took big wooden boards into empty swimming pools so that they would have an activity to do when the surf wan't good. Not until the 1970's, the first skate park was made in California. Shortly after, the skateboard building boom was about to begin. Many skate parks that were built in the next dozen years. The popularity of skateboarding has taken off with the pros, such as Rob Drydek and Shaun White, who have brought it to the main stream.
