About Skateboarding
The first skaters took big wooden boards into empty swimming pools to mimic the waves of surfing. Many years later, the first concrete skateboard park was made in California. Shortly after, the skateboard park boom was about to begin. Many skate parks that were built in the next few years. The popularity of skateboarding has taken off with the pros, like Tony Hawk, who have brought it to the main stream.
