Not until the 1970's, the first skatepark was made in Southern California. Next the skateboard boom was about to begin. Today, there are more than 2,600 skateparks in America. Skateboarding has taken off with the pros, such as Rob Drydek and Shaun White, who have brought it to the main stream.
