We have taught a 78 year-old grand father who wanted to skate with his grandchildren. It is never too late. About
Skateboarding is a great sport. The first skaters rode down hills in Carlsbad, CA with clay wheels so that they would have an activity to do when the surf wan't good. Not until the 1970's, the first skatepark was made in Southern California. Next the skateboard boom was about to begin. It was thousands of skate parks that were built in the next twenty years. Now there are more than 2,600 skateparks in America. The popularity of skateboarding has taken off with the pros, like Tony Hawk, who have brought it to the main stream.
