About Skateboarding
Skateboarding is a great sport. The first skateboarders rode down hills in Carlsbad, CA with clay wheels to take their surfing to the streets. The first skateboard park was made in Southern California. Shortly after, the skateboard boom was about to begin. Now there are more than 2,600 skateparks in America. Skateboarding has taken off with the pros, like Tony Hawk, who have brought it to the main stream.
