About
Skateboarding is an activity that everyone should learn. The first skateboarders rode down hills in Carlsbad, CA with clay wheels to take their surfing to the streets. Not until the 1970's, the first concrete skateboard park was made in California. No one knew the skateboard building boom was about to begin. It was thousands of skateparks that were built in the next few years. Skateboarding has taken off with the pros, like Tony Hawk, who have brought it to the main stream.
