As one of the few accredited skateboard schools in the country, we have a taught thousands. Our school has taught over 12,000 students which is more than any other school. Our school will get any beginner to be confident with all of the basics of transportation by the end of the lessons.

Who We Teach in Durham
All ages and levels are welcomed at our lessons. We start with safety first, but the rest of the lesson is custom to your level and goals as a skateboarder. It is never too late to start. We have even taught a 78 year-old grandfather who wanted to skate with his grandchildren. Skateboarding isn't just for kids One of our instructors taught Shaun White how to skateboard when he was just 7 years old.
About
The first skaters took big wooden boards into empty swimming pools so that they would have an activity to do when the surf wan't good. Not until the 1970's, the first skatepark was made in Southern California. No one knew the skateboard building boom was about to begin. There were a lot of skateparks that were built in the next few years. Skateboarding has taken off with the pros, like Tony Hawk, who have brought it to the main stream.
