Many years later, the first skatepark was made in Southern California. Next the skateboard boom was about to begin. It was thousands of skate parks that were built in the next dozen years. Now there are more than 2,600 skateparks in America. Skateboarding has taken off with the pros, , who have brought it to the main stream.
