About Skateboarding
The first skaters took big wooden boards into empty swimming pools to take their surfing to the streets. The first skate park was made in Southern California. No one knew the skateboard boom was about to begin. The popularity of skateboarding has taken off with the pros, such as Rob Drydek and Shaun White, who have brought it to the main stream.
