About Skateboarding
Skateboarding is an activity that everyone should learn. The first skateboarders rode down hills in Carlsbad, CA with clay wheels so that they would have an activity to do when the surf wan't good. Not until the 1970's, the first skatepark was made in Southern California. Next the skateboard boom was about to begin. Today, there are more than 2,600 skateparks in America. Skateboarding has taken off with the pros, , who have brought it to the main stream.
