Skateboarding is a great sport. The first skateboarders rode down hills in Carlsbad, CA with clay wheels so that they would have an activity to do when the surf wan't good. Not until the 1970's, the first skatepark was made in California. Next the skateboard building boom was about to begin. It was thousands of skateparks that were built in the next twenty years. The popularity of skateboarding has taken off with the pros, such as Rob Drydek and Shaun White, who have brought it to the main stream.

We have even taught a 78 year-old grandfather who wanted to skate with his grandchildren. You can start skateboarding at any age.
