About Skateboarding
Skateboarding is an activity that everyone should learn. The first skaters took big wooden boards into empty swimming pools so that they would have an activity to do when the surf wan't good. Many years later, the first skateboard park was made in Southern California. Next the skateboard park boom was about to begin. Thousands skateparks that were built in the next few years. Now there are more than 2,600 skateparks in America. Skateboarding has taken off with the pros, such as Rob Drydek and Shaun White, who have brought it to the main stream.
