Skateboarding 101 Course
Who?
We offer lessons for all levels and ages. We start with safety first, but the rest of the lesson is custom to your level and goals as a skateboarder. It is never too late to start. We have even taught a 78 year-old grandfather who wanted to skate with his grandchildren.
About
Skateboarding is a great sport. The first skateboarders rode down hills in Carlsbad, CA with clay wheels so that they would have an activity to do when the surf wan't good. Many years later, the first concrete skateboard park was made in Southern California. No one knew the skateboard boom was about to begin. It was thousands of skateparks that were built in the next twenty years. Now there are more than 2,600 skateparks in America. Skateboarding has taken off with the pros, such as Rob Drydek and Shaun White, who have brought it to the main stream.
