Skateboarding is a great sport. The first skateboarders took big wooden boards into empty swimming pools to take their surfing to the streets. Not until the 1970's, the first skatepark was made in Southern California. Shortly after, the skateboard building boom was about to begin. Skateboarding has taken off with the pros, , who have brought it to the main stream.
