Skateboarding 101 Course
Our Students
All ages and levels are welcomed at our lessons. We start with safety first, but the rest of the lesson is custom to your level and goals as a skateboarder. It is never too late to start. We have even taught a 78 year-old grandfather who wanted to skate with his grandchildren. One of our instructors taught Shaun White how to skateboard when he was just 7 years old.
About
Skateboarding is a great sport. The first skaters took big wooden boards into empty swimming pools so that they would have an activity to do when the surf wan't good. The World's first skateboard park was made in Southern California. Shortly after, the skateboard park boom was about to begin. There were a lot of skate parks that were built in the next dozen years. The popularity of skateboarding has taken off with the pros, like Tony Hawk, who have brought it to the main stream.
