About
The first skaters took big wooden boards into empty swimming pools so that they would have an activity to do when the surf wan't good. The World's first skatepark was made in California. The popularity of skateboarding has taken off with the pros, such as Rob Drydek and Shaun White, who have brought it to the main stream.
