About Skateboarding
The first skateboarders rode down hills in Carlsbad, CA with clay wheels to mimic the waves of surfing. Many years later, the first concrete skateboard park was made in Southern California. No one knew the skateboard boom was about to begin. There were a lot of skate parks that were built in the next twenty years. The popularity of skateboarding has taken off with the pros, , who have brought it to the main stream.
