About Skateboarding
Skateboarding is an activity that everyone should learn. The first skateboarders took big wooden boards into empty swimming pools to take their surfing to the streets. Many years later, the first skatepark was made in Southern California. Next the skateboard boom was about to begin. It was thousands of skateparks that were built in the next dozen years. The popularity of skateboarding has taken off with the pros, like Tony Hawk, who have brought it to the main stream.
