As one of the few accredited skateboard schools in the country, we have a taught thousands. We teach more lessons than anyone else. Our school will get any beginner to be confident with all of the basics of transportation by the end of the lessons.
Curriculum
Our Students in Berkeley
We offer lessons for all levels and for ages 4 and up. We start with safety first, but the rest of the lesson is custom to your level and goals as a skateboarder. It is never too late to start. We have even taught a 78 year-old grandfather who wanted to skate with his grandchildren. Skateboarding isn't just for kids One of our instructors taught Shaun White how to skateboard when he was just 7 years old.
About Skateboarding
Skateboarding is a great sport. The first skaters rode down hills in Carlsbad, CA with clay wheels to mimic the waves of surfing. Many years later, the first skate park was made in California. No one knew the skateboard park boom was about to begin. Today, there are more than 2,600 skateparks in America. Skateboarding has taken off with the pros, like Tony Hawk, who have brought it to the main stream.
