The first skaters rode down hills in Carlsbad, CA with clay wheels so that they would have an activity to do when the surf wan't good. Not until the 1970's, the first skatepark was made in Southern California. Next the skateboard boom was about to begin. Skateboarding has taken off with the pros, such as Rob Drydek and Shaun White, who have brought it to the main stream.

Who We Teach in Winchester
We have students of all ages and levels. We start with safety first, but the rest of the lesson is custom to your level and goals as a skateboarder. It is never too late to start. We have even taught a 78 year-old grandfather who wanted to skate with his grandchildren. One of our instructors taught Shaun White how to skateboard when he was just 7 years old.
