About Skateboarding
Skateboarding is an activity that everyone should learn. The first skateboarders rode down hills in Carlsbad, CA with clay wheels so that they would have an activity to do when the surf wan't good. Many years later, the first concrete skateboard park was made in California. No one knew the skateboard boom was about to begin. There were a lot of skate parks that were built in the next twenty years. Today, there are more than 2,600 skateparks in America. Skateboarding has taken off with the pros, such as Rob Drydek and Shaun White, who have brought it to the main stream.
