Skateboarding 101 Course

All ages and levels are welcomed at our lessons. We start with safety first, but the rest of the lesson is custom to your level and goals as a skateboarder. We have taught a 78 year-old grand father who wanted to skate with his grandchildren. It is never too late to start. You can start skateboarding at any age. One of our instructors taught Shaun White how to skateboard when he was just 7 years old.

The first skateboarders rode down hills in Carlsbad, CA with clay wheels so that they would have an activity to do when the surf wan't good. Not until the 1970's, the first skateboard park was made in Southern California. No one knew the skateboard boom was about to begin. Today, there are more than 2,600 skateparks in America.
