About
Skateboarding is an activity that everyone should learn. The first skateboarders took big wooden boards into empty swimming pools so that they would have an activity to do when the surf wan't good. Not until the 1970's, the first skateboard park was made in California. Next the skateboard boom was about to begin. It was thousands of skateparks that were built in the next years. The popularity of skateboarding has taken off with the pros, like Tony Hawk, who have brought it to the main stream.
